This time I came to Shenzhen to participate in the academic exchange in the university town, and stayed at Huali Liyu (Shenzhen Xili University Town Subway Station) for three consecutive nights. The hotel is located at No. 21 Pingshan 1st Road, a 7-minute walk from Exit C of the University City Subway Station on Line 5, without having to drag a suitcase and walk for too long under the scorching sun. About 800 meters away is the Yitian Holiday Shopping Center. If you want to find late night snacks or buy supplies at night, just take a turn downstairs and walk for more than 10 minutes to Shenzhen Wildlife Park. After a busy meeting, take an evening walk to Xili Lake's green road around the lake. The lake breeze is wrapped in the fragrance of plants and trees, and the tension of rushing to get there is instantly relieved.
When checking in, the front desk did not follow the standardized process. Seeing me carrying thick meeting materials, they took the initiative to upgrade me to a higher floor room type, saying that the higher floors were quieter and would not be disturbed by the noise on the roadside. The moment I opened the door, I felt comfortable. The whole room was dominated by light wood color, without any unnecessary fancy decorations. The space of about 30 square meters was spacious and transparent. Opening the curtains, I could see the green trees and school buildings of the university city in the distance. In the afternoon, the sunlight slanted in, and the whole room was warm and cozy. The bedding is made of soft and skin friendly fabric, and the support of the memory pillow is just right. After a whole day of sitting down, the soreness in the shoulders and neck gradually subsides.
The most surprising thing is the detailed design of the hotel, where a semi open tea table is specially left in the room, accompanied by a complete set of tea sets and local tea bags. After a busy day, I come back and brew a cup of hot tea, sit by the window and drink slowly, without any sense of wandering during business trips. The bathroom area has undergone a complete separation of dry and wet areas, with hot water coming out in seconds. After taking a shower, standing by the window and blowing the wind, even exhaustion has dissipated. The bamboo book bar in the public area is filled with various books. After the meeting, if you don't want to stay in your room, go to the book bar and find a book to sit in. The self-service tea table next to it is always available with hot tea water and snacks, completely bringing the relaxation of home.
The equipment in the free self-service laundry room is kept clean and tidy, and laundry detergent and drying bags are provided for free. The dirty clothes accumulated during business trips are thrown in and washed warmly in no time. The types of breakfast are not particularly complicated, but everything is carefully done. The cooked Congee, freshly steamed noodles, and fresh local fruits are comfortable and appetizing. After staying for three days, I didn't encounter any annoying incidents, and all the services were just at the most comfortable level. I didn't intentionally disturb you, but I was always there when you needed them.
For those who often travel to Shenzhen for business or participate in academic activities in the university town, Huali Liyu (Shenzhen Xili University Town Subway Station) does not have expensive facilities, but has achieved the goal of 'relaxing people's stay'.
